So here in Uganda
I was on the bus(29 April 2021)traveling from Kampala city to Mbarara city
A distance of about 300km
Here on the bus some people come o market herbal products .The information is very interesting
And very helpful more so the are many testimonies of these processed herbal medicine and how they have healed people
I have picked out two interesting points
That in Uganda we have only 24 covid-19 patients only in hospital (this I say with a disclaimer but I can testify that the recovery rate in Uganda is super high and this is right before the new types of reporting the first case of the Indian variety). So how come?
Here in Uganda fruits and vegetables are very abundant and people have been keen to consume them voluntarily and on the other hand the ministry of health runs promotions on radio and TVs. Mostly they encourage a frequent dose of lemon, Garlic and Ginger. But today I have learnt something new, that eating one guava is equal to eating 5 lemons. So the herbalist on the bus has encouraged us to eat a lot of guavas
Some one has asked about natural remedies for deworming for their children. The recommended recipe is a mixture of honey and pawpaw sap(make sure to get the sap from a half raw paw paw. 5mls of pawpaw sap can mix 250mls of honey then use the honey as always (you can smear on bread or take a tea spoon daily) The worms should be clear from your body in just4 days
There is always some one marketing medication on almost every long distance bus and I'm wondering how many recipes, remedies and solutions I have missed. I am glad I joined Hive and now I can be more keen to listening (by the way in Africa we write less most information is oral)and also share what I will always recall.
