Well, here's a post from outside regular posts on art, writing, tech and crypto.
Garden time. I love the feeling of planting things given enough time, money, space and know-how. I guess you many not need the second thing, if you know enough of the last (but not me).
Below, if I remember correctly, is a Fuji Cherry. I think it could even be a Prunus incisa 'Kojo-No-Mai', but that might be pushing the boat right out.

Planted in the ground here (mid-June 2018) as dense grey clouds threatened overhead, and the sound of late-night, beer-drenched singing in a nearby holiday house (good songs though). I live in SW France, close to the Dordogne river.
The soil was very stony but hopefully this Japanese Mount. Fuji-derived shrub will survive our considerable summer heat and cold in winter, being in a sheltered position. I'd like to see it grow big, but it probably won't.
The heavens opened just as I got it in, mixed with a decent amount of compost. The plan is to update when/if it grows/flowers and to remember this fateful day.
So... stay tuned for more (intense) garden excitement, where any votes may well go towards future planting.
(No idea what I'm doing, any advice always appreciated.com)
