In china from last few decades there is immense release of hazardous gas because of which people are facing severer breathing problem and some are facing lungs problem to come up with is problem china has developed world’s biggest air purifier and the trail was also successful.
Like Delhi (India) also suffering from huge smog problem people cannot breathe and before one month the smog level that much increases that they have to shut down schools to prevent children from smog effect.
China has come up with this new project of air purifier to cope up with its growing smog problem, this purifier is 330 feet in height. It can purify in the range of 10 K.M.
Currently institute of earth environment are doing testing of this purifier, currently this purifier is build in Xian in Shaanxi province. This tower cleans the most toxic particles that are responsible for pollution i.e Nitrogen Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, and sulphur dioxide the component that create smog.
Scientist Cao Junji (head of the research) said there is improvements in air quality over an area of 10 K.M in city, the tower has managed to produce fresh air of more than 10 million cubic meters (353 million cubic feet) a day since its launch. Cao said it bring polluted smog to moderate level from high level. This is a 15% decrease in the smog level.
The full tower will be 500 meters (1,640 feet) in height and diameter of 200 meters (656 feet), when the patent application filed in 2014.
How it Works?
• The Base consisted of green House for which solar energy is used to produce energy.
• Dirty air go inside the green house and solar energy just heat up the dirty air
• Then this hot air comes to the tower cleaning filters and get cleaned and released in the atmosphere.
