It has been determined that the use of peat, in most cases, is the only substrate used for the production of vegetable seedlings, however, its use is questioned due to the negative environmental impact it has caused.
▶ This is because peat brings as a consequence the constant deterioration of the environment, due to the exploitation of peat as an organic, ecological and economically profitable resource, that is why it is necessary to search for new alternative substrates of another type, for example the Bocashi type.

Substituting peat for Bocashi, is because it incorporates organic matter and essential nutrients to the soil, such as; Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), and Boron (B), respectively.
This publication aims to respond to the problems encountered in the production of seedlings in nursery by generating valuable information about the fertilizers to be used, in such a way that allows to know some elements during the nursery stage, such as the floral area, stem diameter, root length and plant height.
This is because a well-formed plant in optimal conditions can be highly productive, and the quality of an organic fertilizer is determined by its nutritional content and its ability to provide nutrients to a crop.
