There is no doubt that it is necessary to find adequate production solutions, these solutions should be oriented to maintain the sustainability of agricultural systems, specifically in citrus producers, through a rational exploitation of natural resources and the application of techniques that are friendly to our environment..
▶ It is for this reason that we have become more aware of the need to adopt a strategy of supplying nutrients to crops, integrating the application of organic fertilizers.

These organic products are used to reduce the damage caused to the environment, human and animal health by irrational methods that have been used in recent decades.
In view of the situation described above, it is necessary to evaluate the effect of organic fertilization such as earthworm humus, compared to a chemical fertilizer (Urea), in agricultural systems, specifically in citrus producers.
This was done to provide answers to the following variables (photosynthetic capacity of the trees subjected to the study, fruit morphometrics, number of fruits per plant and analysis of the physical-chemical quality and juice yield of the fruits).
And where such research provides sufficient technical information that can be applied to the different forms of citrus crop production in the world, considering more than one environmental variable.
