Currently, the air quality in Salem, Oregon is poor, this means it is recommended to not go outside unless necessary. The next level is hazardous.
Believe it or not, there were 160 wildfires this summer.
This photo shows the haze that overtook Crater Lake a few weeks ago.

Nature has gotten the best of us (as she always will) the last few years around this time; last year, some punk caught The Columbia River Gorge on fire.
I thought I had a post about Eagle Creek up on my blog (this is where the fire started) but I don't, so stay tuned for photos. This trail is now closed and under re-construction.

A super hazy sky equals a blood-orange sun.
Our house has been lit up by bright red light, the smoke gets trapped in the valley.
The fires are super unfortunate, but on the bright side; the smoke helps in creating stunning sunrises & sunsets.
I'd say this was an overall interesting post...
