#344 - The sky was blue.
Back in the days when we went to this beautiful island of Siargao, our first must go to destination is their famous surfing spot which is about two kilometers away from the main town. We hopped in to one of the motorcycle for rent in the place where we were staying and drive here. I just have to fill the bike with gasoline which is affordable and a lot of sellers are in the streets so we don't have any problem running out of gas here.😅 The bike is rented also for just $10 USD per day so still cheap instead of renting a car. Motorcycle is the most commonly used mode of transportation here and there are plenty of them for tourists to use. Just gotta make sure you have a license before renting one to be safe following in case something happens.
So back to the surfing 🌊 spot, there are already a lot of people resting in the beach when we arrived at around three in the afternoon and most of them are foreign travellers. There are still other people coming and going to the waves which is right there in the horizon just around hundred meters more from the shores. The shoreline is stony and that is why people take time moving to the surfing spot because they have to make sure they are not stepping on sharp stones or rocks underwater. The waves here are big and that is the reason a lot of people come here to experience it.
Surfboards left on the stony shore.
The big waves are visible from far away distance. The skyline is also bright as blue. Not enough clouds to give cover to the area.
Surfboards that are for rent just on the shoreline. A cover of coconut trees will be welcoming the surfers as they arrived challenging the big waves. A lot of young expectators are also here to have a view of the hot ladies in the beach.😎
