#424 - Cloudy skies and mountains with rice terraces.
Happy Saturday everyone, how's your weekend going? Yesterday, I was accompanied by my wife and we finally made a walk at the river and we covered atleast four kilometers of distance which is good enough to get my feet walking on again. She even asked me to go to a mall nearby the river so we can look around so I have no choice but to oblige and we ended eating some salads instead of making our walk back home😂. So after finishing our meal, we walk more inside the mall doing window shopping from store to store and bought two burgers from a fast food store and we went home around six in the evening. We hailed a taxi cab parked at the waiting area of the mall. We'll try to go walking again in the next hour today and hopefully we can go back from our point of origin without going through any unnecessary stops like the mall.😄
For our photos of the day, let me share photos of our hike when we went to visit a remote village which is located in the Cordillera region. We stayed here overnight when we arrived it was almost noon already so we asked to owner of the house we rented overnight to prepare our lunch and put it in our tabs which we will settle the next day before we leave early in the morning. Then after our lunch we spend some time to rest and a guide who is assigned that day arrived and he will accompany us for the hike going to the falls somewhere in the mountains.
Here are some of the shots I took that day when we are already long way from the house. We can see several small villages with a numbers of houses in them. There is also some rice terraces made by the locals as a source of their rice that they need through out the season.
The weather was so warm and also hot during this time. Glad that there are clouds formations in the sky which give us cover from time to time as the clouds pass by our trail. The harvest season just also concluded a week ago before we arrived according to our guide.
Then we have here several shots of the waterfall which is from the peak of the tall mountain. We didn't want to bath because it was rocky going down there and the waterfall is also huge but the stream is not big enough. So I just took photos of the falls as a remembrance.
