#454 - Flowers and bees.
Good evening once again my fellow beautiful Hiveans. We are already halfway of the workweek and some of us just wanted to get to the weekend once again so we can have our family time and do something else fun. My wife and I were supposed to go out yesterday for a walk but it was cancelled because the wife had to see a doctor. I accompanied her and after that we went home but on our way, we first went to the market to buy dog food and brown rice but the store where we usually buy were already close past five in the afternoon. So we will try to go there another day and earlier than five in the afternoon.
Now, for our photos of the day let me share these shots which is about flowers and the bees. This one shows a small yellow flower and on it is a honeybee which is busy collecting the pollens. I think this small yellow flower belongs to the sunflower family and they are just small.😁 There's no pollen sac yet from the hind legs so it will take some time and many flowers before this tiny being goes home.
Next one is another bee and this one has a large sac of pollens already in its hind legs. She could be going home to the colony to store the precious nectars it has collected for a lengthy time. Not sure how they do it that the pollens are sticking well to their legs without dropping even during their flight. It amazes me for some reason.
This is another type of yellow flowers which is also being visited by the bees and even flies and small butterflies. Look how tiny it is which is almost same size as my finger.
Another honeybee which is also looking for pollens on this yellow flower. It is also just started to collect since it doesn't have that sac yet in the hind legs. I wonder how long or how many hours they spend each day collecting it.
Just a flower which is similar to dandelion and is already in the advance stage of withering. Most seeds from this flower could have been places now since they are swept by the wind.
This is one part of the Burnham park that has these small yellow flowers. Other parts have different varieties of flowering plants that are also planted.
