#471 - Some pine trees.
Happy Tuesday evening my beloved beautiful Hiveans. I noticed a tweet that our HBD has been up 3x of its pegged value of $1 because of pump created on an exchange but since that time it is back again to its supposed value. Many may have benefited by selling at 3x the value. I also sold my HBD but was late already, it was at $1.4 of value and used it to buy Hive which I will be using to pay for my son's tuition and other expenses too in the coming months.
Moving to our subject of today which is about our climb to Mount Kalugong or Sombrero which we visited back then. The mountain is outside Baguio city and we had to ride a taxi early morning to get there because there are no jeepneys going straight to the area where the mountain is located. After dropping off from the road, we had to climb the mountain for less than an hour and then we got to a gate where we had to pay an entrance fee since this place is private. After entering we already roam the area and went to the tall pine trees in the peak of the mountain. Then I decided to pick one of the pine cones and took a photo of it while I am holding into it and showing the pine trees and the blue sky with clouds.
They also installed this swing on a tall branch which give me chills when I tried to ride it further 🤣 because the sit is just a huge round dead branch which could snap anytime so I just swing with caution.
Then after that, we went to check on the only cafe they have here in the mountain which they say offer great coffee. We were accompanied by this dog they have, it just suddenly showed up and walked with us.
This is the cafe entrance showing the name of the place. It's a small wooden house built on top of the mountain and is converted as a cafe.
These are their usual menus for the day. There's plenty to chose from. My wife ordered a coffee in black while I got a strawberry smoothie because I no longer am allowed to have caffeine because my stomach hurts when I ingest some. Then a bread with salad and also cakes.
The cafe has this overlooking area on the back where you can step on these metal structures. My legs are too long and my shoes got bigger in this photo, something is wrong with my wife's phone.😄 What we can see in the background is the area of Latrinidad Benguet and this is also the area where we can find the strawberry farm.
Follow me on my nature travels.
