#511 - At La Union beach.
TGIF fellow Hiveans. It's a rainy afternoon where we are and I also did the laundry right after finishing work at three in the afternoon. My wife was in charge in hanging the clothes after so it was a team work. Then she left after to meet a friend somewhere in the next barangay. I also prepared a boiled pork belly for our lunch early when I got free time at work. I had to use the pressure cooker to get the job done faster while I was waiting for something as work.
For our shots today, let me feature these taken in the coastal beach of San Juan La Union. The place is a good spot for surfing and also kite riding or kite surfing. The time we went here is pretty crowded already, there are too many tourists coming from the city who wants to spend their days here. These two shots were taken one afternoon while I we were strolling along the coast. The sun was less warmer and there were clouds too. We can also see a group of people by the sands sitting and enjoying the view.
The water level at this time was low tide if not mistaken. The water is still not deep after you have several steps from the shores. As we can see there are people who are just standing there in the water which is still not deep enough.
The next two shots were taken midday when the sun was at the hottest but the people don't mind it. We also put on cream for uv protection and just stroll around after swimming. Then I took shots of people, here we have families by the shallow water and on the sands. The kids enjoying the water.
And we have here a crowd just living their lives to the fullest, having some fun. My wife and my son and I also spent some time in the waters before we went back to the nearby hotel we were staying.
Follow me on my nature travels.
