#580 - Macro shots for Sunday.
Happy Sabbath evening dear Hivers. Hope all is well to you and your significant others. It is my off today but mostly spent the whole day sleeping to cope up with my lack of sleep since Tuesday. Late in the afternoon today, we went out for a quick walk because I haven't walked for a couple of days already and I saw a doctor in Twitter that atleast 4000 steps is needed to delay or prevent dementia especially that I am turning 40 already haha. So I took that advice seriously and my wife walks a lot but couldn't these days because I am in night shift.
Now for our daily shots, our feature is about macro photography and here we have several shots of flowers and bees. This first one shows a bumblebee atop this lovely pink flower which look like a daisy. Notice its hind legs that there's a nectar sack already with huge amount which it will deliver to its hive once deemed full.
Then we have here several orange flowers without any insects on them. Took these photos not far from where the first photo was taken, it was just along the path in the rice terraces of Batad.
Then we got here the same kind of pink flower and there's plenty of them also in Batad. It was windy back then and I was trying to take a photo of a bee collecting pollens but when the shutter took the shot, the wind blew as well and the flower and bee was separated.. notice the abdomen and legs of the bee in the upper part of the frame.😅
Lastly is another bumble bee that is also collecting nectars from this lovely pink flower. Just look at the hairs of the bee, it looks muscular with it and the sack on its leg has more nectars compared to the first bee on the first photo.
