#610 - Nature shots for Today, Batad.
Wonderful night of Thursday to you all people of Hive. It's gloomy whole day here and that's why it was a bit colder compared to yesterday where the heat was at 40 degrees Celcius outside. Imagine that being outside at the beach haha, sunburn is definitely waving so make sure to have sunscreens incase anyone would be traveling to the sea areas in this tropical country.
For our travel shots here we have some from our last visit to this lovely remote place called Batad. It was a weekday when we decided to come over here to avoid the crowds of people who will be here during the weekends. Many visitors from all over the country and even abroad come here for the view. As we can see in this first shot where we were at the viewing area and there are also several flowering plants up there. Hence I focused on the flowers with the rice terraces in the background, what a lovely sight from up there.
Then they have several daisy flowers with different colors and variety. There are also large bumble bees flying around from one flower to another. Here's a couple of shots with the bees and flowers.
This shot was taken while we were following the guide walking ahead of us. There's also some rice plants growing from the harvested plants. They are not going to bear much rice fruits but they bear enough to feed some chickens who are loitering around on the loose.
Here we have a modern house of the locals. They build concrete houses already but still keep their traditional nipas around as storage for their rice or granaries.
This is the steep stairs made of concrete going to the viewpoint. Without the concrete is going to be a challenge climbing and going down. Glad the locals decided to pour concrete on the pathways to make walking easy for everyone.
Follow me on my nature travels.
