#663 - Nature shots Friday.
A pleasant Friday night fellow Hivers. It's gloomy today and I started the day by walking in the University oval near us. We went there at five thirty in the morning and did a couple of laps and completed atleast six kilometers of distance. Then after that we went out looking for eatery beside the road and there we had a fulfilling breakfast. We ordered beef with soup and another viands made from pork namely dinuguan and also dinakdakan which are local names of the viands. The meal was cheap because the eatery is just along the road and not fancy at all.
On our way home there are vendors along the road that sell different varieties of fruits and vegetables. We stopped by one of the stores and bought a fruit called guyabano which is good for digestion and also has vitamins and minerals. It's just that the prices of fruits along the road has also increased just like in the market. We bought two pieces of fruit which is about almost $3. The fruits are not yet ripe but perhaps already good tomorrow.
Alrighty moving on to our featured photos for today we got here some macro shots of insects. These first few shots are from an orange lady bug insect. The back of the critters have several black spots and there is also like a translucent stuff on their backs like a cover or something. The critters were seen crawling on the leaves of a plant.
It really looks cute isn't it? 😍
Then these remaining shots were from a couple damselflies. Their moment of intimacy has been revealed when I walked passed them while they're doing their thing on a leaf.
As we can see they are attached to each other. I have been seeing this kind of same situation when I was still a kid and playing in the meadows with my relatives most of the day. We see a lot of these insects in the grasses and while we are going to the river also. There are different colors also and we even captured these and fed them to spiders we collect from the meadows. I know it's a harsh thing to do but we were just kids back then. I regret doing those stuff we did to these kind of insects and the spiders. So every time I see insects I just capture some shots and don't want to interrupt or interfere with their business. No touching them too.
