#678 - Ambuklao dam shots for Sunday.
A gloomy night of a Sunday dearest beloved Hiveans. How's your weekend going? Hope all is well to all of you out there. Tonight's my day off so after finishing my shift early at seven in the morning, I asked the wife to get the laundry 🧺 basket so I could start the laundry. I finished at about nine in the morning and I went to take a nap and woke up by 12 which is lunch time. I didn't got any sleep anymore after but will do after posting this one ðŸ¤.
For our shots tonight we got here some several photos we took recently when my wife and I went to the city of pines for a couple of days of vacation for her birthday. On our second day she wishes to visit the dam which is about seventy minutes away from the city. So we went there by seven in the morning right after eating our free breakfast which is just composed of fried eggs and other fried viands. We first went to this spot where they have the name of the dam set up with the view of the dam in the background.
The mountains where the dam us erected is full of different kind of greens. Huge trees that are very pleasing and relaxing to the eyes. We spent some time here just observing the view. We took each turns to take photos. There is also a small community living just beneath the dam, perhaps most of them are employees of the dam it self. Tilapia fish is common fish they sell here and are found in the river.
Then so we went to the dam itself and got there in about twenty minutes. There are employees of the dam which told us that we just missed them releasing water down stream at around seven that day. We took photos just above the flood gates. The water color seems a bit muddy maybe because of the force of the water gushing down and hitting the rocky areas below which could clout the water color since it's soil down there.
Then we went to the area where the water is. The water is green perhaps of the reflections coming from the mountains surrounding it. There were wooden boats nearby which are used by the employees. There is also a tourist spot somewhere out there but we need to ride on a boat to get there, we can catch fish and eat it according to one of the guards I talked to but the wife doesn't know how to swim and so she didn't want to ride the boat too because the water is definitely deep out here. So we just spent more time appreciating the view and took some more photos as remembrance of visiting this cool place.
