#679 - Clouds and coffee at Tanay Highlands.
Another gloomy Tuesday evening dearest Hiveans. Yesterday was my second day off and also the work night of the wife but before she works at night we went to see a place somewhere in the outskirts of Rizal province just beside the Metro. We were with her friend and we got there before lunch. We already had a full meal prior to going to this place so we just ordered coffee and nachos. The last time we went here is that the place was full of fog and we cannot see what is out there from this viewing point. Now we have a pretty decent view of what we missed last time. We have a nice view of several places that were blocked by the fog before.
The farthest area shows Quezon and Laguna provinces. On the right side is the national capital region mainly the city of Muntinlupa. In the middle behind the pine tree is the windmill farm of Pililia Rizal which we have visited already for a couple time. We haven't been there recently after the pandemic, hope we can visit there some other time and see the place. I bet it is full of tourists already especially during the weekends.
The view shows a skyline full of clouds with the blue sky visible. It was Monday and we taught we were like few visitors but during the lunch time, a lot of people came here too. Most of them are bikers some with high end bike like 500+ cc of displacement. Those rich kids in high end bikes thought they bought the place already and they were loud mouthed disregarding other people eating lunch. Soon after like 15 minutes they started to cool down with their loud mouths 🤣.
Since we were still full because of the meal we just ate about an hour before arriving here, me wife just ordered a load of nachos and then coffees. Mine was not a coffee drink but a macha based hot drink. My wife and her friend spent some time having small talk while I spent the time watching the view around us.
Follow me on my nature travels.
