#710 - Macro shots for today using my phone.
Happy Thursday dearest Hiveans. It's almost the weekend once again, time really is flying! Yesterday was a bit busy for me even though it's a freeze week due to thanks giving. I had to complete a practical test that is being required by our team. We had a group study and we managed to complete it but our brains got exhausted haha. I didn't also go out, it was just a Netflix time for me. I saw this tv series in Brazil about cops fighting crime and it was cool in my opinion. I also download a peer to peer copy of FastX to watch but our television doesn't support the format so it was a waste. I will just try to get another copy some other time.
Now for our daily shots, these three photos in macro were taken when I went for a quick jog at the river the other day in the afternoon time. After finishing a ten lap in the river which covered at least six kilometers, I stopped and did some stretching exercises and also noticed that there were insects that are not afraid of people at that time in the afternoon. I saw this tiny white moth which looks like a small butterfly too and it's on a dried up weed flower they called Ketul flower. This is considered a weed by many but I find it beautiful especially in the meadows where there are lots of it all bearing white and yellow flowers.
The next three shots also shows a macro of a large fly that is resting peacefully on a strand of tiger grass or fodder cane right beside the dried up flower which I took photos with a small critter above. I zoomed in my phone camera near it and the subject didn't move at all. It's true that four in the afternoon is the best time to catch critters in photos without them being elusive at all compared to other time of the day. The quality could have been better if I had my Lumix camera with me. I will try to bring it next time if possible.
Then these last three shots shows some Ketul plant with the flowers which are white in color. Again this is common in the meadows and considered a pest weed by most but to other people they provide beauty in nature and also help other insects in return.
Follow me on my nature travels.
