#748 - Bataan shots for today.
Greetings this Wednesday evening fellow Hivers. I am not feeling well early at dawn so I gor my self a sick leave before I started my shift at six in the morning. I will file it tomorrow once I am back online hopefully. My wife was also not having a good day because of dry cough she already took several medicine but still not going well. She tried tablets and also liquid syrup but doesn't seem to have any effects. It's also starting to get hot already as summer is slowly coming by day after another day.
For today's shots let me share some of the captured scenes when we went to Mount Samat as a side trip after spending an overnight stay in a beach somewhere in Liwliwa, Zambales. These first two shots show a selfie that was taken from the phone of the wife which we placed on the grassy lawn to get a good shot of the tall huge flag and also the huge cross that is erected on top of the mountain.
Then these next four shots also shows the same, the giant cross that's erected on top of the mountain which we have been already. The museum that's below the cross was unfortunately closed for renovations when we visited so we took more shots instead of the cross together with the flag pole. There's several steps of stairs leading to the flagpole but this is already the exit so that's where we have been. Before, during our first visit here years ago this is a two way flow for people but they have made it one now maybe because to organize the flow of people.
Then these two shots show the wife posing with the giant cross which is just behind her. We were at the top of the mountain, walked all the way there, catching our breath too.
Then another two more shots and this time showing the wife with portrait shots while she sat on one of the stairs with the flag and giant cross behind.
Then these last two shots shows the pathway going down to the flagpole which is about a hundred meters away from the peak of the mountain where the cross is rssting. The pathway is in zigzag and laid with giant stones.
