Today Bricat wants to tell you about the world known lake Baikal - the biggest (by volume) and freshest lake in the world with the unique nature.
It is located in the middle of the Russia. It is also the deepest lake in the world, it's depth is 1,642 m (5,387 ft).
It is also known for its endemic (unique) tasty fish. Cats usually like to eat smoked or salted omul π».
Another symbol of Baikal is nerpa or Baikal seal. It is very clever and very fast animal! And also very beautiful.
The ecological situation around the lake was getting worse in the past years.
The last big scandal is connected to Chinese owned bottled water plant. It started protests among local population and the government decided to temporally ban the building of the plant.
Bricat is worried about this situation and is thinking about it even during the sleep.
The writing on the pillow in the photo is a russian word ΠΠ°ΠΉΠΊΠ°Π» that is the name of the lake Baikal.
