Did you know that the damn up river from the falls can completely stop the falls. In fact they stopped them in the 70's to repair the falls with large bolts and other types of repairs. This location is also where Tesla proved that AC is better than DC. There is a treaty between the U.S. and Canada strictly regulating the flow of the falls to have them look this gorgeous no matter how much rain there is or not. Also the U.S. side will only have parks at the edge of the falls where Canada gets the entertainment. This is why it is developed in the way it is.
