I am very pleased with some of these photos which I took with my mobile phone this morning. I normally struggle to achieve enough definition in these flowers.
There's either too much light or too little light; just a bit of breeze makes it hard to achieve the right focus.
One thing I found interesting is that there was also some variation in the strength of colour of the bluebells.
I managed to check and found that the pollen was white which according to this reputable site means that they're native rather than the introduced Hyacinthoides hispanica. I'd like to find out more about those hybrids I read about.
It's exciting to see that part of our new woodland is gradually getting colonised by these beautiful wild plants.
