Hi folks! Trying to get a Daily Nature Fix in before it gets too late here. There really isn't much to say about this one, other than it's a few photos from our last trip to Iceland. We went this past December, during winter, to catch the Northern Lights for my parents whom we brought with us this time. The drive along the souther coast is super scenic and look especially cool in the snow.
^^^Some distant mountains with a glacier lagoon before it. Those big ol' blue icebergs are slowly working their way out to the Atlantic Ocean.
^^^Here's some classic Icelandic mountains/cliffs that you see in the south. Usually, it's the bright green moss against the black volcanic rock that is especially stunning, but a bit of white snow into the mix adds a whole 'nother layer to it all.
^^^This photo was taken around twilight. I liked how the sun was catching the top of the mountains just right. Also, you'll notice the big old glacier winding it's way through the valley.
