Woods of the North

I like to share with you one of my favourite childhood places
a place that called me back after twenthy years
the woods of the north

This is the land of our mother Gaia where I walked with my bare feet as a child
this is the soil that held me safe when my world rocked

here I stumbled and fell
but learned to rise again
here the silence made me hear
I learned how to dance with the fairies
and to lay down on the soft bed of moss
feeling the joy of Life in all of my body
my heartbeat
one with mother earth

This place
always
dancing in my heart
