San Bernardino Mountain Adventures

So now that fall is here and the temperatures have cooled off, I thought it would be great to look back at the fun times of summer. One of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite places to go cool off during the summer is Deep Creek. Located near Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino mountains Deep creek is a beautiful oasis with tons of deep swimming holes full of trout, huge cliffs, sandy beaches, hot springs... I mean the place is a freakin' paradise! Here we have combined a few of our trips... we visit Double falls, the Cliffs, Peace, Aztec falls, Paradise cove, Splinters Cabin bridge, Twin Sister, and a bunch of other unnamed swimming holes! Hiking, fishing, swimming, cliff jumping... Deep creek is so much fun! And honestly, believe it or not we just scratch the surface here. I didn't even include the hot springs or my favorite Deep creek swimming hole, Gilligans Island! We'll save those for later! wink face.jpg
