Earlier today I recapped my recent hike the Tour des Aiguilles Rouges in the French Alps. With such an amazing experience, there was plenty to write about and I forgot to showcase the beautiful flowers & butterflies I encountered on this adventure.

I tried to capture flower shots that show the magnificence of the mountains in the background:

With butterflies, I couldn't be picky about the background. I was lucky when they stayed still for long enough for me to even get a shot:
Afterthought
While I was pretty impressed with my phone's camera in its ability to take these closeups, I'm thinking of getting a detachable magnifying glass for my Pixel 2. Any Steemians have experience with such contraptions? I've heard you can get some breathtaking shots with this simple & cheap attachment.
