Or not Kiwi. Time will tell I guess.
It had no tag and it still a very small baby with the leaves just starting to show the variegation and some colour.
As I tried to look online for something similar I found few names: Aeonium Kiwi, Aeonium 'Tricolor' Variegated or Aeonium haworthii 'Tricolor' (which apparently is the same as Auonium Kiwi).
I have a Hawortii one and it has a lot thicker leaves.
Either way I like it and it is my first variegated type :) Yay!
Aeoniums are such lovely plants with one huge flaw.
The flowers... First of all the blooms are nothing special (to me anyway). Very pale or yellow. They can attract bees and other creatures and if they bloom in huge amount they are quite showy.
But the plant will die off after it blooms. And that is a bummer. They can grow for a few years to beautiful, big plants and then kaput :p If they don't have any side shoots that is it.
Is there a way to stop them from blooming?
In case you missed it, here is

Four more to go :)
