Weeds? Not us. We're a work of art!
Because they are so common, dandelions are normally thought of as weeds but I've often wondered how much they would be revered if they were difficult to cultivate.
They make quite show when photographed in a field of grass where they scatter themselves easily but I also admire their tenacity.
This shot shows their resilience, growing in a minuscule amount of soil in the gutter.
Their colour is perfectly off set by the grey of the Victorian granite curb stones.
