During the summer time after some good rain our garden is full of mushrooms. And it doesn't even have to be a lot of rain. We pick them up every time as we don't know whether they are poisonous or not and don't want the dogs to get sick.
The most common ones we see looks like these:
We have also started noticing some different kinds of mushroom. These were predominantly in the flower beds rather than the lawn.
Found growing together, white and looks velvety.
These grow in the shade and are delicate to the touch. The stalks are sturdy though.
Where it's coolest these pale yellow ones can be found. Very delicate and usually gone by the end of the day.
We have a dead tree stump with full sunlight where this one grows.
The one morning we decided to do an experiment to see just how much they grow during the day, as they seem to just appear over night.
Nature truly is amazing.
