Every year, from June to July, Japan begins a thunderstorm and rainy season, during which local forests visit a huge number of fireworms adored by the Japanese. The picture appears truly amazing, as if descended from the pages of a book with fairy tales. Tiny luminous insects, emitting yellow, green or light red light, gather in thousands of flocks in the forests and in the surrounding areas, mainly after thunderstorms and storms. Their enchanting night dances in forest areas can be seen only in several places in Japan - in the city of Maniva, Okayama Prefecture, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, and also in the vicinity of Oita Prefecture, etc.
