Today I had to deliver an urgent letter in The Hague. The weather was very bad, lots of rain and wind. When I drove the corner after the delivery I saw a beautiful old park. I decided to stop and take a look. Despite the bad weather I walked for almost an hour in this park area called 'Oostduin'.
On Google Maps, this area is not marked as a park but as a residential area. Living and nature go together in this area.
There are dozens of white wooden benches at the most beautiful corners.
It looks like a great place to relax when the weather is better.
There is water.
There is forest.
There are fields.
Very old trees.
And dead trees.
Old Buildings.
A playground.
And even something to think about.
Loosely translated, 'Filtered society tastes like emptiness'.
But above all the many fabulous bridges.
These offer great views.
I hope I gave a good impression of this amazing place.
