It took me by surprise that I quickly flicked it to the ground.
I was about to hand up the clothing & there was some bird poop on the line. It happens sometimes and, being dry, I would just clip it with my fingers and it would fall away.
This time it was attached to some spider web. Interesting bird dropping trap I thought. That is, until, the poop started to move.
In a reactionary panic I sent it to the ground.
My panic subsided to interest and I took some pics.
When its legs are tucked in, I just looks like debris.
Doing some googling it is most likely the Celaenia excavata species.
It reminds me of a time I went on a holiday with some friends.
One friend said to me, "I hate spiders!"
I said, "No, you don't hate them."
She asked, "What! I do hate them!"
I smiled, and said, "You Respect Them!". We laughed!
Now, she always laughs with, "I RESPECT them, soooooo much!".
