Good morning Steemers! Sorry that I didn't post this yesterday. For some reason mushrooms of any sort have me walking in the clouds. I found some chanterelle mushrooms along with a couple of black trumpet mushtooms and had them for dinner. Cooked up in some olive oil and salt and pepper, they were great, but an hour or so later I was feeling "Great", but I was feeling a nap coming on, so I took one. It damn near had me feeling like I drank a case of beer because alcohol does that to me. It knocked my ass out. So the first two mushrooms are what I cooked up and the rest is what I saw.
The three yellowish orange mushrooms above are chanterelle mushrooms. The three below are black trumpet mushrooms. They are hard to see but one you recognize what they are then you will know. I stepped on the first one but that was at the same time that mind was making the connection of what it was. Then I saw the rest of these when I started looking around. They are pretty fragile and they look like a tulip. There isn't a whole lot to them only a U shaped stem that opens up into the open top mushroom.
The rest are just random mushrooms.
.
I will put this out there. In no way am I educating you on mushrooms. Do your own research and properly identify any mushroom before you consume it. There's one truth. You will never find any old mushroom hunters out there. Maybe you will find that one "unicorn" mushroom that you misidentified that you will regret eating later, or in my case my body reacts to the mushrooms in it's own way and maybe you will to, but just be causious when consuming wild edibles until you know how your body will react. Eat little bits at a time at first and then work your way up from there.
I just wanted to share that with you and I hope more of you get out and go exploring.
Have a great day everybody and go explore nature!
