Today, on one of the probably last sunny days of this year, I set out to a hike along the "Officer's Trail" in Theley.

The path has a length of about 11 km and leads through forest landscapes along the former border of the Saarland to the German Reich.

Finally I ate in the Landgasthof Johann-Adams-Mühle.

An einem der vermutlich letzten sonnigen Tage dieses Jahres brach ich heute zu einer Wanderung entlang des "Offizierspfads" in Theley auf.

Die Strecke ist ca. 11 km lang und führt durch Waldlandschaften entlang der ehemaligen Grenze des Saargebietes zum Deutschen Reich.

Den Abschluss bildete ein Essen im Landgasthof Johann-Adams-Mühle.

This 300 years old "Napoléon-oak" (a 'pedunculate oak'; Quercus robur) is one of the historical boundary trees of the manor Imsbach. At the beginning of the 19th century Napoléon Bonaparte gifted Louis Lapointe this demesne.
