I've recently bought the property next to my house, a field with an old earth cellar on it.
This is as valueable as it gets :)
The earth cellar is at least 60 years old. It is in really good shape ... only the front door needs to be replaced. I've just taken out the old front door, had to replace some bricks inside and will get a new front door quite soon. Inside the cellar there's 9° Celsius and 100 % humiditiy.
I plan to use it to store a base stock of vegetables, potatoes and basic canned goods ... for probably three months to cover any worst case scenario.
