This winter slow, warm and wet here in southern Finland. There was no or little of snow for a long time. Then we had snow and cold weather quite long time. In south we had also below -25 C temperatures.
After slow start winter kept going and spring has been late. Migratory birds came while it was snowing and lakes etc. were frozen. Then things started to change at fast pace. In one week there was huge change when warm weather came. In north there is still snow and "winter" even weather is warm during days. Here in south pretty much all snow is gone even some lakes are still covered by weak ice.
