Paria Canyon | Arizona

The Pari River sculpted its own smaller version of the Grand Canyon. Some rock formations, including The Wave, are so spectacular.
Paria Canyon is located in a desert area at the north of Arizona State and the south of Utah, USA, in the Colorado Plateau arid region.

Visitors need permission from the Land Management Bureau - the authorization for a night trip comes with a garbage bag, so if you want to visit this natural wonder you have to be ready to pack your garbage.

The eruptions of the Stromboli volcano

Stromboli is a small island in the Tyrrhenian Sea on the northern coast of Sicily, with one of three active volcanoes from Italy.
Part of the Aeolian islands near the Sicilian seashore, Stromboli is a small volcanic island with several hundred brave inhabitants.

Unlike many volcanoes, Stromboli constantly spits a column of lava, gas and ash. Fascinating phenomenon for vulcanologists, but it can also be a good trip for those who want to see lava outbreaks in action.
To see natural fireworks you can take a boat trip around the island in the night.

Muddy volcanoes

Mud lovers are traveling to see the strange Martian landscape of Gobustan, 65 kilometers from the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, where small volcanoes regularly spit out thick gray mud.

Azerbaijan ranks first in the world after the number of mud volcanoes. 350 mud volcanoes of the 800 known are here.
The sludge is considered to have medicinal qualities, so if you visit the place, do not be surprised if you see naked people sinking in the mud.
