The first sunflower officially opened all the way up last night/this morning.
How wonderful, what can come from one small seed in the ground.
Nature's program is there. All the necessary information, contained in that one, tiny seed. All that is needed are the right conditions to be met and...voilà! There it is. A big, beautiful sunflower!
The string beans have followed suit. A remarkable proliferation of vines! Yay!
These guys are really plentiful, and easy to grow and harvest. So far the string bean plants have been one of the biggest producers for us. Next season I plan on planting a whole lot more. Free fucking food!!!
Constantly amazed by the rhythms and intelligence of nature.
