Dry Season Sunset In Lhokseumawe Reservoir

Behind the viral news of the general election in Indonesia which is yet clear who is the next Indonesian president, we are Indonesian got so bored of it, once i finished my work, i traveled to my hometown Lhokseumawe, the city where i was born and this is the old city where i spent my childhood. A small picnic could be good for the weekend. There are many places here to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery if you know where to go, as the city is located on the edge of the Samawi Bay which is beautiful along with the Malacca Strait in the east with the long coastline. Across this strait is Malaysia.

Heading to the beautiful reservoir in the evening was nice thing to do on this dry season, you know the sun will show himself on the horizon. I sat on the edge of the reservoir enjoying my relaxed time under a shady Moringa tree. Enjoy the most legend tea in this country Teh Botol with the ice no forget or you will regret is a perfect companion in this hot weather. The price pretty cheap, only a quarter of a dollar. Also this spicy grilled meatball satay is what we chew.

Not only to watching sunset, this reservoir is always crowded with people both in the morning for enjoy sunrise, jogging or walking for sport, also of course a pleasant gathering place in the afternoon watching sunset for the residents of Lhokseumawe city.
