Waking Up with the Sun

I enjoy these Hive account@photocontests that Hive account@juliank proposes to the Steemit community everyday.

I am far from being a professional photographer - I have an iPhone SE - but I really enjoy capturing moments that I can save and cherish in the future.

These contests enable me to reflect on pictures I have taken and think about the moments they were taken and how I felt.

This pictures was taken in my backyard. I rarely wake up with the sun. This day was an exception because I was going hiking with my parents and I had to get ready and meet them.

I opened the door to let my dogs out and this glorious scene was unfolding before me.
