I needed an attitude adjustment, so I wandered outside
I was sitting inside feeling quite overwhelmed. A combination of music and fresh air fixed my attitude for me.
I love the springtime, everything feels new, and the days become "longer". It looks like spring is beginning here. My lilac bush started to bud, so I hope it does not get too cold again. That happened a few years ago, warmed up in late winter and everything thought it was spring and started blooming, really messed with the local apple crop, and my poor lilac bush too. We had a couple warm days this week (in the 50s), all the snow melted, so everything is a muddy mess. It is only 33 degrees today and pretty windy, but the 15 minute walk served me well.
Lily followed me and went back and forth between being cute and playful and attacking me because I was walking instead of petting
I love the area I live in, I do not think I would want to live somewhere that the woods were not nearby. I do not spend nearly enough time in nature, but I hope that changes this year. It always helps me recenter. I am looking forward to hiking, looking for morels, fishing, sitting in the sun sipping coffee, and with any luck camping this year.
What are your favorite outdoor activities???
I would love to hear all about them.Much Love-
