We live in amazingly beautiful place and close to the base of three Canyons in the Wasatch Range in Utah.
Never having been big outdoorsy types it took us a while to find our thing in these mountains.
Last summer we got hooked on Sunday hikes and were sad to stop them in winter. Yes, there is such a thing as snow hiking but we aren’t that hardy and dislike the cold.
Our excitement at the temperatures being close to 60° this morning meant that we dusted off Betsy, our Jag XK8 Convertible and headed up Millcreek Canyon for our first hike of the year. It was gorgeous.
But not 60° higher up. I was a little underdressed. But it blew the cobwebs off and made me determined to get back on the elliptical to get my hiking legs in shape.
The sky was the most unbelievable deep blue, the snow was sparkling and everyone’s mood was that much brighter.
This has even given me the impetus to take my camera out with me do I can share the beauty with you all. Look for the changing landscape anc the magnificent high desert spring flowers as they bloom.
But for today enjoy the snow and blue skies taken with my iPhone
Much Love
Louise
