Even though spring doesn't officially arrived in the northern hemisphere until Tuesday, the weather here has been absolutely magnificent. I took advantage of this lovely day yesterday, and went for a hike. I found a place overlooking trees, water, farmland, and started musing.

The friend I was with half-jokingly suggested that I might think better if I took my clothes off... Some suggestions are too good to ignore!

Even though the time was about an hour away from sunset, I could still feel the strength of the sun's rays on my skin. After coming out of a dreary winter, the warmth across my bare skin was wholeheartedly invited.

I talked with my friend about one of my favorite quotes from Henry David Thoreau, author of many things, most well-known Walden.

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived ... I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... "- Henry David Thoreau

I definitely feel that in this chapter of my life, I am sucking deep from the marrow to find my nourishment!
