Encouraged by the interest in the strange bird, I decided to check if it is still on the lake, and if so, get closer and try to identify it. As I suspected though, it was a migratory bird. Today it was sunny and there was already no trace of it.
Yet, I will take this opportunity to introduce you to the much more frequent guests of our lake. For example, this senior-citizen gander.
It's hard to imagine a more obnoxious creature. Sometimes he crosses the road and stops thinks. In such a case no car can drive, whether the driver hunk at him or not. We can bravely call him a walking audacity.
Here he is up close.
Here are ducks. I wouldn't call them obnoxious, they are just panhandlers. Having noticed me, they swam closer, to remind me that it was their breakfast time and I can't just photograph them for free.
So it goes.
