The year 2017 gave me some nice opportunities to take some great pictures of dragonflies.
I worked outside in the fields and I had always my camera with me. I Just want to share the impressions of the past year.
This is a female of "Libellula depressa" (Engl.: Broad-bodied Chaser) right after the emergence.
Here I got "Aeshna cyanea" (Engl.: Blue Hawker) with my mobile (OnePlus 2).
Here we have a couple of "Sympecma fusca" (Engl.: Common Winter Damsel) laying their eggs. It is one of two dragonflyspecies of Europe that survive the winter as an adult.
But not all beauties have the chance to survive and lay their eggs. These two fellas got cought by an "Argiope bruennichi" (Engl.: Wasp spider).
I also had the chance to go to Namibia und visit some springs and rivers. This is "Trithemis annulata" (Engl.: Violet Dropwing) at the Okawango river.
I am looking forward to the next dragonflyseason and to share some nice pictures with you.
