That was quick!
It was only a week ago that the found an incredible-looking chrysalis. When we posted about it,
chimed in with this response:
Hey
, It looks like the Euptoieta claudia, the variegated fritillary butterfly crysalis. Very beautiful what a great discovery šhave a look here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euptoieta_claudia
If you are not familiar with , you really should be. From jungle photography to travelling the world, she provides some amazing content that is definitely worth checking out. Anyway, she was correct about the species too, as we have been able to verify now that it emerged!
BEFORE PHOTOS

Here are a few photos of the chrysalis when we found it. Check out how amazing it looks, and the splendid metallic colors on it!

Now, however, it has lost its luster, and its contents! We found it empty today!
Want to see what came out? Thankfully, we've got some photos of that too!
AFTER PHOTOS
Well, the wings on this butterfly dried and it took off, but not before we got a couple of photos. Thankfully, I barely managed to get a proof photo too, but I did manage to pull it off. Also, we were pleased that the got to see this beautiful creature before it departed into the treetops too. Enjoy the beauty!
As always, I'm
and here's the proof:
