Hello hivers!
Today I want to share my recent travel to Baatulichaur lake situated in Bharatpur municipality of Chitwan district in mid Nepal.
Sometimes all we need is a calm and peaceful place with fresh air and natural sight away from the busy life. So I decided to take a quick escape to the Batulichaur lake. Located in the centre of Chitwan National Park and a short drive from my workplace at BP koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital made this travel feasibe despite the limited time frame.
It was mid noon when I reached the location. It was a one hour ride from my workplace. This ride is quite risky as the wildlives like one horned rhinoceros and wild boar often take this route to reach the oter side of the national park. As soon as I reached there , the cool and fresh air gave me a sense of instant relaxation and freshness.
The surrounding was quiet, clean and filled with greenery. Chitwan National Park is a home to more than 600 species of birds. The birds chirping in the trees and the dance of Peacock made the environment more relaxing.
Oe thing I loved most about this lake was its clean surrounding. There were availability of garbages bin nearby and facilities of clean drinking water as well. According to the security personnel caring the lake, there were around 20 Gharial crocodiles in the lake so the administration had banned for swimming and boating in the lake premises.
The reflections of trees in the water and a gentle flow of wind made the moment a picture perfect. Every corner of the lake were worth taking in the picture. This location is a perfect spot specially if you are photography lover.
Places like Batulichaur lake is a reminder that Nepal is rich in natural beauty and water sources.
Sometimes we search happiness in distant places while peaceful destinations exist close to us.
If someone is planning to make a trip to Nepal , I strongly recommend to make a visit to this masterpiece of the nature.
