You've already met my other fur children GG and Anubis in previous Caturday posts. Today I wanted to introduce you to Ziggy! The funny thing is he wasn't always a cat, he used to be a pupper. It was a twist of fate that brought Ziggy into our lives. As a kitten Zig was rescued from a busy intersection by a family member. My husband's brother took great care of him for years, but he just wasn't a cat person and already had a dog to raise. We lovingly brought Ziggy into our home, where he gradually learned to cat!
Ziggy's new world was filled with strange things like cat grass. Though he had been a dog for years, his feline instincts lead his curiosity and the lifestyle grew on him. Slowly, but surely Ziggy realized it wasn't so bad being a kitty!
The cat tree became an instant favorite for bathing and catching a nap.
With his new life came travel, alongside his siblings he flew all the way to Ireland! This is a photo of Ziggy lounging in a sunspot in our apartment. For an entire year, it was city living and it suited him just fine.
Every day brought exciting experiences, who knew cats could use tablets!? This interactive cat game was a big hit and enticed his inner predator!
Sissy still doesn't fully accept him, but I'm happy to say he and his brother are best friends! In this photo, he and GG share a window with a certain unspoken understanding.
These days, Ziggy is living the good life in sunny Florida, enjoying life as it comes. As his guardian, I can say he's a fantastic addition to our cattery and we couldn't imagine life without him. Happy Caturday!
