I tend to keep as much of the wild plants as possible. Joshua trees survive drought and provide nesting for wild birds.
This tree is about 10 feet tall but some can get up 80 ft and live up 1000 yrs. When i bought this property ten years ago, i knew i was going to care for this beautiful tree.
I used a DeWalt razor blade for trimming off the needles. It took me four hours of cutting and picking three wheel burrows full of trim.
A couple of stabs and one cut later
job complete, mission accomplished!!
