Dear Steemians, since I started sharing my fishing experiences, many have asked me what happened to the fish, if I released it or if I did eat it. I would like to point out that carpfishing isn't just a fishing technique, but a philosophy of life in the respect of nature, we always release fish. Many take us as crazy, because we spend money and time to not bring anything home, but the challenge lies in catching fish, not in eating it. Once I win the fight and the fish ends up in the net, the only thing I feel is the respect I have for that wonderful creature and the emotion it has given me.
Cari Steemians, da quando ho iniziato condividere le mie esperienze di pesca, molti mi hanno chiesto che fine facesse il pesce, se lo rilasciavo o se lo mangiavo. Vorrei precisare, che il carpfishing non è solo una tecnica di pesca, ma una filosofia di vita nel rispetto della natura, noi rilasciamo sempre il pescato. Molti ci prendono per matti, perché spendiamo soldi e tempo per poi non portare a casa nulla, ma la sfida sta nel catturare il pesce, non nel mangiarlo. Una volta che ho vinto lo scontro e il pesce finisce nella rete, l'unica cosa che sento è il rispetto che ho per quella splendida creatura e per l'emozione che mi ha regalato.
Small glory, size here don't count!
A few days ago I went fishing on a small lake near home, a quick 3 hour session. The lake is small but the fish is very wary by the bait. The only prey that I managed to catch is this tiny fish with bright colors, which has a peculiarity, is an hybrid. Ie, a mix between a queen carp and a koi (those Japanese all colored, red, blue, etc.). I took advantage of this wonderful catch to share the moment of her release. Always respect the nature!
Qualche giorno fa sono andato a pescare su un piccolo lago vicino casa, una sessione veloce di 3 ore. Il lago è piccolo ma il pesce è molto diffidente dalle esche. L'unica preda che sono riuscito a insidiare è questo piccolo pesce dai colori sgargianti, che ha però una particolarità, si tratta di un ibrido. Cioè un incrocio tra una carpa regina e una koi (sono quelle Giapponesi tutte colorate, rosse, blu ecc.). Ho approfittato di questa splendida cattura per condividere il momento del suo rilascio. Rispettiamo sempre la natura!
