I took this photo earlier today at a ski resort. I was skiing outside of Toronto. The reason that the photo is so jarring is that the huge amount of snow was made by artificial snow makers.
At ski resorts there are huge cannons that spray fake snow in order to make enough snow to keep the resort open as long as possible. Some of this snow seemed to pile up on top of this tree and bent it totally out of shape.
The life of a tree must be hard, cold and unforgiving. Sometimes the beauty of nature cones at the expense of nature itself. Lol I think that I am getting a bit too philosophical about snow on a tree branch.
